Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklifts offer versatility and height. These models are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck. The crane, or arm, is referred to as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the operator to lift the cargo to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Standard forklifts could not move the cargo away from and towards the cab of the forklift, whereas a telescopic forklift can allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is normally used in both agriculture and construction. It is better for applications where greater control and lift is required.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are recommended in cases needing high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that enable the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when lifting a load. It comes with a backrest that protects the loads from damage.
A sleep sheet lift truck would usually utilize a slip sheet attachment for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This type of system is useful for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A man basket is a lift platform designed particularly to hoist employees. The basket attaches to the forks on the forklift, held in with a strap or chain that is to be secured directly to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the workers from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
