The narrow aisle lift truck has been made to work in narrow storage spaces by increasing the ratio between the space and the aisle width. Yale produces the single reach NR and double reach NDR units which are utilized for aisle widths between eight and ten feet. The Narrow Aisle trucks made by Yale offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment that has different stance and control handle configurations and use best-in-class ergonomics.
NDR & NR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To be able to meet a wider variety of operations, there are many control handle configurations like the aft stance, the choice of fore, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: The AC motor technology provides fast lifting speeds along with powerful acceleration and deceleration. It has been manufactured for quick plugging in order to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of cargo transported during a shift.
Reach & Mast Assembly: The mast reach assembly consists of trunion mounting and tapered roller bearings. This increases the mast rigidity and durability; along with the gusseted rear frame weldment, and the reach assembly carriage which are reinforced for long life.
Power Lowering: To really enhance the overall throughput and production, Yale provides industry leading uploading speeds and lowering speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a terrific function that maintains lower oil operating temperature while reducing battery changes per shift.
Electronic Steering: The electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and hence really reduces energy. The steering tiller is adjustable by the operator and the technician can adjust the steer effort in order to decrease operator exhaustion. During the start-up process, drive tire centers automatically initiate.
Order Selectors: Order pickers are also referred to as very narrow aisle trucks and the narrow aisle trucks. These machinery are made for the manual handling of racked loads which are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors lift both the operator and the cargo to its required height. This height could be in excess of 30 feet. Similar with most turret trucks they are usually wire or rail guided when used in very narrow aisle applications.
