FM GRU Tower Cranes were established in the year 1920. This family run business, FMgru, is located in the largest industrial location within northern Italy. During the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in welded construction industries and the metal structural sector. FMgru was involved in constructing bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, a wide array of forklifts, presses, farming equipments and prefabrication molds.
The business began crane production in 1963. Over time, the company pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the field of lifting.
