Utilize a Pneumatic Forklift
Pneumatic forklifts are common in warehouse and shipping operations. Also called pump trucks or pallet trucks, they are used to move products and supplies around on wooden pallets utilizing metal forks that are mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight includes a pump that can raise the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is designed to be operated by one person.
To be able to avoid loosing control while lifting heavy loads, pallet trucks must always be operated with care. Machine must be inspected before operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstacle. Make certain that the handle smoothly turns. The pallet should be stacked carefully to be able to guarantee that nothing will fall off during transportation.
In order to release air in the pump and lower the forks, squeeze the lever situated on the inside of the metal loop on the end of the pallet truck's handle. The forks could then be pushed into the pallet slots. The forks should be in the middle in order to ensure equal distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Lift the forks from the ground by pumping the pneumatic lift's handle until the pallet has cleared the ground completely. Do not lift the pallet very high or the forklift could unbalance.
Move the pallet by pulling on the handle and dragging it behind you. It is dangerous to push the pallet ahead of you since the momentum can cause it to go out of control. Take turns slowly and don't try to stop suddenly. Stop slowly, squeeze the lever, and the forks will lower to the ground. Finally, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent location.
